This charge and another similar one from Ft Myers showed up on my card at the same time someone tried to charge $1,000 at Wal-Mart. The Ft Myers charges were < $1 each so I think they were test charges to see if my card was active before they tried the big score.
I was worried, but it finally clicked with me: three charges of $1.75 each were from a Ft. Myers' hospital soda vending machine.
In my case, a local hospital's soda vending machine!
Mine was a $0.50 charge at a vending machine as well.
