Goverment service-not elsewhere classified
company that provides vital records. tried to use their service a few months ago but the transaction was cancelled when i learned i didnt have all the information so i assumed it was cancelled but today i find a $9 charge to my account.
This number showed up on my VISA bill and couldn't recall anything around that date. Said it was the "VCN*OKDEPTOFHEALTH". While on hold to speak to someone. I remembered a Certified Birth Certificate that totaled that amount, so its all good.
Found an unauthorized $12.50 charge on my credit card statement. This is a scam charge. Was trying to order a Nevada death certificate but did not have all the documents they needed, so I cancelled the request. I would have cancelled it anyway even if I had the docs needed because with those docs I would have been setting myself up for all kinds of fraud including identity theft. Been down that nightmare road once before years ago. So no thanks - once burned twice shy !!!
