Unknown transaction on my bank statement for $1.50: 914PEPSIVEN9147678600 TULSA OK POS PUR CK 07/13/17 07:39 A OK I called the number listed, 914-767-8600. The message stated it was PepsiCo. Apparently this is for a pop bought through a vending machine. Pretty sketchy that their identifier is not something a little more recognizable.

This appears to be from a vending machine in Michigan. I have not been there, but there are 3 charges on my account for $2, $1.50. and $1.50.

I didn't recognize the charge because of the odd label. This was from a Pepsi vending machine I used while waiting at a doctor's office.

I didn't know what it was either. On my initial google search it directed me to site about scams for small amounts that scammers put on tens of thousands of credit cards. Then, in addition to that money, they will target account of people who didn't dispute the charge. I will dispute a $.01 charge if necessary. Thankfully before disputing i did another search and came up with Pepsi vending machine. My husband used his card to get at $2.00 pepsi.

More than likely this charge is a scam, I wasn't even in Detroit and got a "324pepsiven#" charged to my account for 1.75 just recently. 1555 Mack Ave. Det. Luckily my bank caught this and shut down my account before more charges could take place.

I got this charge (324PEPSIVEN9147678600) in my credit card statement and thought it was very suspicious. I keep receipts and resolve them against my monthly statement, and didn't have one for this transaction. With the help of my Google Maps timeline and was able to recall that I bought a Gatorade from a vending machine on Belle Isle in Detroit, MI. Very relieved that I don't have to have my credit card cancelled - again! :)

On 12/4/19 I had a $1.75 charge on a Visa card from PEPSIVEN9147678600 Burnsville MN. Evidently it was for a soda from a machine. I don't exactly recall being at a vending machine in Burnsville, but... I'm in agreement with "Cindy on January 1, 2019" regarding the odd label on the Visa statement. Strange 'description'.

If you bought a soda from a Pepsi vending machine with a card, this is it. The description isn't very clear, which is what caused confusion with me. But after researching, it's valid. Then the description made more sense as well. pepsiven? Ohhhhh I see it now! Pepsi Ven. As in.... Pepsi Vending Machine. duh. They really need to change the description because I read it as 'pep siven' and had no idea what that was.

A charge of $1.75 was put on my debit card when I got a drink from a vending machine in my apartment complex when I was charged already a $1.55 by the vending company. This is illegal and I plan on turning Pepsi company in to Better Business Bureau if not returned.

At 1st I got a charge for a pepsi, which I did not buy. Then I got a charge for a hotel room in GA, which I don't live in nor did I travel too. I've canceled my card after the Pepsi and always now I have a 25 charge attempt. This is a scam, beware

Three charges from vending machines in two different cities on the same day. I've never used a card in a vending machine and haven't been to one of the cities in over a year. Had charges voided and issued a new card. Have a feeling this may have been a test run, if not challenged, to go for a bigger heist later.

Got a charge on my credit card from "364PEPSIVEN9147678600 LAS VEGAS NV", I have not traveled out of Illinois in months and have not been to a vending machine. Fraud charge of $3 on my credit card. If people don't catch this and report it, imagine how much money they are stealing from everyone?

I think someone should suggest suing Pepsi and their vendors. I guess I just did. Hahaha... I mean its mine was only $1.60 a month. But that adds up for any vendor of Pepsi especially country wide. Mine was in Phoenix AZ. I guess i will now grab a soda or water from inside the store where I shop. And whats really funny is that after I called, they started crediting me, however they would charge, credit, charge, credit. So I never really got a credit.

I have purchased water from a vending machine at the YMCA but it's not in the city indicated on the charge. I won't be using the vending machine again to see if this charge still shows up on my bank account. It's charging me $2.00.

When you pay with card on a vending machine, an extra 10 cents is added to the charge without telling you, then at the end of the month, the charges are added up and charged to your account.

I don't think this is a Fraud, and the locality is not based on the vending machine where you purchased the Pepsi, but rather its regional processor.
