I got a charge like that from Hertz Rental Car at the Monroe, LA airport. My receipt says that Bill Hardys is a licensed Hertz operator.
Yes I've seen it. It came up on my card with a 300 charge and Hertz rental also $300
Yes, this operation has led to lots of weird issues for me. For a couple of years, I've gotten what look like phishing emails, purporting to be Hertz reservations. I assume that their goal is to get me to call so that they can steal my information. This week, it got worse. I have a pending charge from them. So whoever is running this scam apparently has my credit card information.
