Just completed a Sainsbury’s survey, answering a few brief questions and then offering free gifts as a reward at the beginning and end. One of which is an iPhone 11 For which you pay £1 and then complete your bank details, email address and telephone number. Got suspicious and tried to contact Sainsbury, but cannot get through and their website just takes you around the houses. Did manage to leave a voicemail on Sainsbury’s number looked up online of 01637 849500, local store to Newquay. Trying to get through to my bank on the phone now and in a queue, after checking my bank account online statement and discovering £1 taken out from MergeMyBill7.Com

All of the above happened to me, call your bank they can stop them from taking any more money out but the bank won’t refund the first £49.95 back as they say you have provided your bank details so a £1 survey turns into nearly £50 out of pocket. Fuming 😤

Yes the same happen to me, they took £1 out then put it back in. i looked at my account today a saw that £49.95 had been taken from my card, the first thing you should do is contact your bank and put a stop to the amount coming out of your card. If your bank does not help you email support@mybill7.com and asks them to cancel your subscription then for them to refund your money.

If you contact them on their website you can just ask for your money back. No point posting on here when you can just email them & get your money back

I've got to say that a lot of you are just pure naive and a bit silly. Don't just give your bank details out on the internet if your not familiar with the company, especially those those you navigated through ads. Stick to reputable websites like Amazon, eBay etc. I work for a major bank and you can't believe how silly some people are. If it's too good to be true, it probably is!

I notice from my statement that I was charged 49:95. I have informed my bank cancelled my card and was put through to the fraud department of Lloyds bank so at least they are aware of it. Will call them back Monday to see if I can get my money back.

This company is fake if you put the details in google then you will see that they are a scam. Report it to your bank if it’s a credit card the dispute team can resolve it. Reported the dispute to bank disputes team and fraud team and the Dept. Learnt not to donate any funds to anyone online. So sad that this is what it has come to. Such !&$^%#*s to put people through this heartless prats.
