Unauthorized charge on card
These people just stole my hard earned money with no warning and I need to know what I can do I am a single mother with 3 kids and 1 low paying job we live from check to check and I need my money
I was charged three times for the same software.
I had 2 charges of $49.99 from this company. I have no idea who they are. I didn't order anything or authorize the charges.
Just showed up on my credit card. Have no idea who they are and even checked their list of customers. Have not done business with any of them. Disputed with credit card company and they removed charge.
Charge for 89.95 showed up on card today and haven't made any purchases near that amount. Someone stole my card info more than likely.
Same as others; charged showed up on bank statement. Thankfully I was able to contact back ASAP, filed a fraud claim and money has been reimbursed. The bank is investigating this company. Beware!!! When making purchasing online.
I had no idea what this was for but eventually found out by calling them this was for HMA VPN which I did authorize.
My bank send me an email alert marking 4 transactions from "myadvangate.com" as fraudulent, all i had to do is confirm.
This happened to me today. Changed 69.95 and I dont buy anything online
My card was charged yesterday for $150 from this company!!!
Just happened to me!!!! Charged me $49.99 on my debit card.., luckily I saw it immediately and filed a complaint!! Never even heard of this company!
Randomly had a charge to my debit card of $59.95 that I didn't authorize. Called my bank and filed a dispute to put it to a stop have no idea who this company is or how they obtained my information.
It was in my bank account a charge from my avanty co. I have never heard of it. I complained to my Bank and they make I report. I think this company should be closed. It seems to be in business only to take your hard earned money, should be put out of thr stealing bussiness so lucrative for them.
Charge made today,tried twice and my credit card company declined it and sent me a fraud alert. 78.66. My card company also found fraudulent charges from Wal -Mart.com. Slugs need to be stopped!
JUST happened to me this morning 6-9-16. My credit card company sent me an e-mail to check out this charge for $59.99. I have NEVER heard of this company!!!! This MUST get stopped!!!
The charge is fraudulent. I reported it to the police and my bank.
I found a charge in my credit card for $59.88 yesterday, Had to cancel my credit card, I do not know how they got my cc information, scammers.
Received a $232.20 charge on my AmerXpress card. Never heard of myavangate.com. I do not purchase computer software online, ever!
Was unsure why this charge appeared on my Amex but further investigation revealed it was an authorized purchase I had made for Retrospect Backup Software.
My complaint is the same as all of these. I've never even heard of them and have not purchased software ever. I had to cancel my debit card and dispute the charge. Not only that, they made my account negative.
MYAVANGATE.COM showed up on my account with a pending debit of $72.00

I have dealt with avangate to buy software from Caphyon, about $3000 over 10 years. Never a problem. So they are legit as far as I can tell. I think problems come when they only show Avangate and not the actual vendor and also when the card has actually been stolen / copied / etc. Not saying there isn't fraud in there somewhere, but I haven't seen any with avangate.
Fraudulently charged $39.95, never heard of them before
A little research and it looks like BitDefender is owned by Avangate. I do have BitDefender but I never authorized a renewal of it nor do I need a renewal yet.
I was just charged 699.00 from myavangate.com....I never heard of this company.
Thought this was fraudulent charge, until I correlated it to a purchase I made of Bitdefender security software.
