This charge is for the Los Angeles Registrar/Recorder County Clerk in Van Nuys. It is a small office in Van Nuys where you would go to get birth certificates, wedding certificates, business licenses, etc. I had forgotten what this charge was as well, but it is most likely legitimate.
Okay ... but I'm from Romania, so what do I have to do with the clerk in Los Angeles because some money was taken from my card?
Ummm I live in Australia & have nothing to do with any US clerks office! I have not purchased anything in regards to this & therefore it is a scam!
