Bought a small can of Coke on a Virgin Australia flight OOL to MEL for $3. Charge appeared two weeks after the flight.
Yes this was a charge for food on a Tiger flight. First, it came through in the middle of the night days after the flight. Second the description for the transaction in my account was completely unidentifiable and in no way able to be connected to the airline. I reported it as a suspicious transaction and the bank has cancelled my card and issued a replacement. Now I find out what it is and have been put to this inconvenience just because Tiger can't identify themselves on the transaction report. Why is it so hard for them to describe the transaction as Tigerair Food??????
I travelled Mexico to Phoenix and have been charge 81.40 Aus for snacks . I have tried to get in touch with my bank to dispute this to no avail. not happy. Wondering how come this has happen to so many people on planes.
In my case, it’s definitely for food bought on a flight from Brisbane to Perth with virgin. Complete legit 👍🏼
It's legit it was a drink I purchased on a virgin flight from Sydney to Adelaide

I have no idea why this charge is occuring on my account! We went to Australia and used Tiger Air 3 years ago! A definite scam I think. I will be going into my bank today to see what action can be taken.
