This is what shows up on your account/bill when you use a debit or check card to purchase medical equipment (in my case, a transport chair for my mother) from walgreens.com. I'm not sure whether ALL online purchases from Walgreens shows this same listing or if it's just the branch of the online ordering system that services medical equipment.

Had a fraudulent charge show up on my debit card that my sons child support gets put onto, $85.00 from this "walgreens.com #5995, Valparaiso IN" location. This is the second time that I have had a fraudulent charge with a Walgreen's in 2-1/2 years, the other was on my personal checking account and when I contacted the store itself they said a card was physically swiped. I have already notified the card issuer, and will be contacting the Walgreen's store that shows that store number later this morning... kind seems Walgreen's needs to do some major upgrading to their system/store security procedures.

Just found this same store number 5995 from walgreens charged $11.43 on my debit card and one of my credit cards. Complete scam. reported to my bank and my credit card. Locked both. Walgreens needs to step it up. We are in Florida and I have never been to In nor have I charged anything to walgreens.

I have a suspicious $10.78 charge from Walgreens on my Paypal debit card. I have not used my debit card in over a year, choosing to use other cards instead. PayPal refuses to do anything, will not let me dispute the transaction and tells me I have to contact the vendor. The $10.78 was taken from a checking account that I rarely use, and a $35 NSF fee was added. I reported my card stolen and have unlinked the checking account from the card, but PayPal seems to be insisting that I physically swiped my card with this online retailer, which is ludicrous.

I discovered a $11.86 charge on my bank card at Walgreens.com in Valparaiso, IN. I haven’t shopped at Walgreens for a long time. I checked online and found many people have had the same scam happen to them. Luckily my bank took care of the issue right affordable me.

$10.46 charge on April 15th 2019. Charge disputed and card cancelled. I live in Oregon, don't shop at Walgreens.

Charge showed up for Walgreens #5995 for 11.35, no such store in Edwardsville IN. Luckily my card is locked so they didn't get any where with my card. Advice to everyone, lock all your cards, if you can't do that then at the very least watch your statement daily or every other day for bogus charges! I have also put a freeze on my credit so no new accounts can be opened in my name, do this by going to each credit reporting bureau website and it takes less than 10mins!

Purchases are for contact lenses or Walgreens.com merchandise.
