PCBC is a charge from the pepsi corp beverage co. The most common way to get this charge on your statement is to buy a bottle of pop with your credit or debit card from one of the machines that takes a card as well as cash
This is a legitimate charge. Most people don't recognize this because they use their credit card in a vending machine to buy a soda and then see a charge from PCBC and think it is a bogus charge.
Like the other two comments, I agree that this is legitimate. I was suspicious of two pending charges on my card and Googled the charge description. The comments reminded me of two vending machine soda charges I made the other day.
Seeing what others commented made me realize this charge is legit. Why the name has to be so weird is beyond me, but I did make a payment using my CC at a Pepsi machine a couple of weeks ago. That's what this is.
I bought a drink from a vending machine at Utah Valley Hospital and it came up as PCBC SPRINGVILLE WORLAND, WY.
I think the varience in city name, Springville or Riverton or other, refers to just where the distributor for that particular location is.
I've never used this PayPal card and I just got notified that it's declined because of lack of funds. Totally fraudulent on my part.
