I discovered a reoccurring charges in that name and I was triggered to cancel my debit card. The name is is really weird and they need to change it.

yeah I forgot I paid my water bill as a one off instead of the usual direct debit and so had no idea what the this charge was, my mistake.

Yw Internet came up on my bank statement after making a phone payment to virgin media. Sent a bank statement to virgin media who said nope that's not us. Now have an open fraud claim with my bank to try and get my money back. To the people who are saying its yorkshire water it should say yorkshire water on your bank statement. If you've made any payments to yw Internet Bradford you've been scammed call your bank immediately.
To all those who say that YW Internet Bradford is legit, I've just got my credit card statement and this lot have taken me for £104. I phoned Yorkshire Water to see what's going on and they said that THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF A CHARGE being made and, not surprisingly, NO RECORD OF A PAYMENT BEING RECEIVED!!!
Update to Dave on October 12, 2023. Apologies; I won't bore you with the details, but this payment was for my son's water account so the transaction turned out to be GENUINE after all!!!
This a payment taken for water bill from Yorkshire Water. By showing it as 'Yorkshire Water' this would be more helpful instead.
