I had a charge from this company for $1.78 suddenly appear on my card statement in March 2021.
A charge of $1.78 from Amazon web services aws.amazon.coUS also appeared suddenly on my credit card October 2021. Reported to bank.
Currently disputing a $1.38AUD charge from this company. I don't have an account with AWS to be charged!
Got a 1$USD charge from Amazon Web Services today about 2 hours ago, seems to be the verification charge for updating the payment method, the thing is that I have never used AWS nor opened an account with them, apparently some scammers who have the card's information do the verification to see if the cards owners are paying attention. Be Careful.
I have had two charges from aws.amazon.com for $1,225.83 on two different occasions. Not something I have an account for had to work with bank to get money back both times.
Amazon confirmed the charges did not come from them. Twice I will billed for $0.86 I do not have an Amazon Web Services account.
