On 3/15/2021 these two payments where taken out of my checking account which I have already contacted my bank about. They canceled my card that was used: PURCHASE AUTHORIZED ON 03/13 ARC TEAM 1044 ATLANTA GA P00581073058182990 CARD 1930 $89.84 Expand 03/15/21 PURCHASE AUTHORIZED ON 03/13 ARC TEAM 1044 ATLANTA GA P00381073044038034 CARD 1930 $239.99
We got a charge from Arc for $45.84 We have no idea who they are. Scam???
I got suspicious of this charge as well. It was for $73.14. I went to the website and it said it could be a charge from an AT&T store. I did make a purchase at AT&T the day before and I verified the amount was the same. I called AT&T to confirm and they did confirm it and plus they gave me my confirmation number. I told them if they want to donate to ARC (or whatever) they should charge my payment to AT&T and then donate that amount to ARC so my charge shows “AT&T” and not “ARC”. That way (I’m not saying AT&T are planning to deceptively steal from me) no one can come back later and say I never paid them by saying “who’s ARC? We are AT&T!”
I received 2 separate charges on my credit card ($36.00 & $86.40), on the same day I bought an AT&T cell phone. I subsequently returned the phone, paid off the balance due, & was assured I would not received any more charges related to AT&T. These 2 new charges appeared & I called my credit card holder. They cancelled my card & will reissue another, based on my claim of fraud. I call AT&T & was told that these charges were 'processing fees' charged for canceling my AT&T cell phone. This, after I was assured by AT&T that there would be no more charges after I had paid them the balance due. UGH!!!
Payments on my bank statement saying ARC Team I called my bank to check it out. .Said to google the name before they do anything. I had also called the number the bank gave me they said they were with ATT.
They scammed me for $600 a few days ago. Bank is working the fraud case but will take a week or 2 to get it back. It resulted from a call from my bank USING MY BANKS PHONE NUMBER, then asking verification questions until they got what they needed. Grrrrrr!
I didn't authorize any charges!
They deducted $397.00 out of my checking account without my authorization!
