There were 3 of us for lunch and the total was only $33 and some change. I left a $5 dollar bill on the table and checked out. Our server did not take the payment to checkout. The person checking us out did not ask if I wanted to add a tip. Later that night, I found the charge to my card with an added 22% gratuity charge (maximum) which came to $6.85. I did not give permission for such a charge. This puts the 'tip' at almost half of what the lunch costs.
I sent this complaint to their corporate office contact and called the manager of the store. She said her receipt matched mine with the correct charge. But it was apparently corrected at some point during the day because now bank shows them putting it back and taking the correct amount. Love their speedy response to my problem.
