I have been trying diligently to get my Online Dating Protection card from you folks and I am respectfully asking for your assistance to do so. Also, I am simply unable to tell you the number of man-hours involved on my part. Accordingly, I very respectively request your much needed help to that end. I have joined and am a member in good standing of Hookup.com and have an upgraded membership. My email is: chuckrose70@yahoo.com. My user name for this site is: Maverick5270, my password is FzfLD8 and my start date for the site was 03/14/2018. My contact number is 972 345-8022. The Visa card that I used for the signup has a last four digits of xxx xx 3348 however, for your purposes, I would like to use a new card with the last four digits being xxx xx 6889 which has an expiration date of 03/21. As indicated, I have tried repeatedly to complete your process to get the card but every time, when I get to the last page, your system either indicates that my brand new, fully activated card with far more monetary capability than is needed here has been declined or there pops up a paragraph in computerese talk about syntax that have I have no knowledge of what so ever. Would you please help me finish this process and secure my ODP card???? I literally beg you for help! over

I was a member of a dating site controlled by Venntro Media Group until December 2017 at which time I unsubscribed. I was under the impression that that was the end of the membership payments to them, however I recently found that they have been fraudulantly deducting money from my bank account from January to June 2018. I was unable to find any phone numbers or email addresses to contact that company when I unsubscribed. They are nothing but Scam Scumbags so beware.

Saw Venntro Media Group AUD on my bank statement today. Checked on Google what this was and found out it was on-line dating which I have never signed up to. I called them and they wanted my payment details to check what happened so decided to call my bank instead. My bank tell me it was an Australian site and they have cancelled my card and are investigating

They took £500 out of my account for services I did not use without my knowledge and would not refund me, so I am out of pocket, they come under many guises such as Planet Rock Dating etc. Please beware, do not lose money like I did. I have gone to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards as they point blank refused to take responsibility.

How can this company Venntro get away with doing this. Putting your details on a dating site you didn’t sign up too and taking money out of your bank account. £102.00 they have took from me and will not refund it back. I am so annoyed by this company.

I had no idea I had an account with venntro. I cancelled all dating sites in Sep 2017. However in Sep my bank highlighted a recurring monthly charge of $79.95. On looking at previous statements to my horror realised I had been charged every month going back over 1 year. I have been under pressure managing my banking and finances on my own thus not picking this recurring payment sooner. When I discovered this in September I attempted to cancel the account which I thought I had managed to do but find yet another charge on my Oct Statement please refund 14months @ $79.95 and CANCEL THIS CHARGE I got a reply from this email telling me how to cancel the account and they would send a confirmation email of cancellation I did exactly as I had done in September to cancel the account with a "sorry to lose you message" but still awate the cancelation confirmation from them. I have had to cancel my credit card and my bank have put disputed transaction for 14 months. Watch this space!

I was charged £29.95 by this website, apparently an escort service???!!! I've never signed up for any such thing. I notified my bank to cancel my cars and will be sending details to the Police. This is clearly fraud. I would advice averyone else to do the same so these scammers stop ripping people off. I was stunned to read there have been hundreds of similar complaints and this company is still operating from Windsor (UK), scamming people unchallenged.

signed for a 3 month 1 off trial, didn't get much satisfaction, I recon most of the 'members' are bots. The website said they were open and above board and at the end of the term that's all unless you renew. Not so; you get a charge on your card from Venntro Media for the rest of your life. Want to cancel the membership? just go to accounts and cancel! But wait; where is the accounts tab in any of their websites? suckers, you can't cancel; just CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD VERY QUICKLY AND GET A NEW ONE. It's the only way to stop them stealing your money!

I did meet a lovely lady on first date so cancelled my subscription but lo and behold they have taken another £29.95 from my bank who have now blocked future payments but I can’t claim back the overpayment as I have nothing in writing to say I have cancelled. If you have ended up here the same as me, this may help.... I have just noticed a payment from my bank account this evening that came out today, taken by Venntro Media Group for £89.95. Luckily for me they have only taken one payment from me before I noticed. Whilst on the phone to my bank and in the process of reporting this as fraud, I did a google search and I have found some pretty shocking information. Basically, if you have ever signed up to an online dating site or such like - mine was Tinder through iTunes so I never actually gave Venntro any direct permission - and these 'sites' uses this scam company, then what happens is Venntro hold all your details on a central database and then use your details to open accounts to make the sites they operate appear more popular than they are. Further digging reveals they have been warned by the CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) for exactly this, using peoples details and charging without consent. The fact they are still doing this despite the warning is absolutely shocking, just as shocking as why the owners never got arrested and the company closed down after the CMA investigation, as this is fraud, plain and simple. I cancelled Tinder at the end of August, Venntro then took the payment at the end of October. My banks advice is to try and get a refund from the company as this is likely to be quicker than going down the 'reporting fraud' route, so I have contacted Venntro and will hopefully hear back in the morning, if they do not refund, I will have to get refunded through my bank which could take time, in the meantime I shall be contacting the CMA and requesting they now take another look at this scam company as they have ignored the warnings and this time they need prosecuting. I shall also be reporting Tinder to iTunes, and also contacting a company called competition lawyers as they did a report about the the CMA's investigation and the resulting warning. I strongly suggest anybody reading this to do the same. This company needs closing down for good. The CMA need to be made aware of all these complaints so this can happen.

I just checked my bank statement and noticed a charge of $84.95 for Venntro Media Group. After contacting my bank they told me the same amount was debited twice before in August 2020 and November 2020. Never heard of them and never signed up for any dating site or escort services - like most of the people on here too. My bank told me to contact them directly to request a refund but from reading the comments here it doesn't seem there's much chance of getting my money back. I have cancelled my card and will be more vigilant in the future. If anyone has got their money back from these scam artists I would be grateful to see how you did it. If I have any success in recovering my money I will post back here.

Maybe we should all follow up on a group lawsuit claim. I have been on a dating site but didn't want to extend so the day before it was to expire I hit cancel but they took the money out & continued my membership anyway. When I contacted them they said I didn't stop it in time even though it was the day before because it if wanted to end my membership ahead of time so it would cancel on expiration date they would not wait & cancel it immediately so that I would not get my full year that I paid for.& they were not going to cancel it so I am just continuing it since there is nothing I can do & no US phone number to talk to them. I haven't been on in a while but my membership is still active since they would not cancel it but now they deactivated it but have my money. So I am still not getting what I had to pay for & still have a few months left. I want to select cancel now so it will automatically end when membership is up but they will just stop it right away instead. Now I can't even use it. WE ALL NEED TO FILE A CIVIL LAW SUIT WHY IS IT WE ALLOW OTHER COUNTRIES TO DO BUSINESS with the US & we get no protection they can rip us off & there is no where to turn.

I’ve just seen a payment for this group taken from my bank account. It was pending. I rang bank and advised to stop this and rang the customer number on website. Spoke to a female, explained I didn’t want it, didn’t know it rolled over every three months etc. She explained how it works and advised she would remove my name from the subscription and dating site and would refund the pending charge. Very helpful and easy which, having read reviews, I wasn’t expecting! Takes five working days to complete so if I don’t get the refund etc I’ll update this forum but here in the UK very helpful customer service. The number I used is 08008085733. Good luck.

Exactly as described on all these reports for me too. Venntro are scammers, my bank didn’t initially want to help but told me to unsubscribe. I pointed out this is impossible on their website, it is a loop that never connects. Bank intervened after 3 months payments “disappeared” from my account. Waiting now to see if this is the end.

This is a scam company. They will not answer my emails when I have tried several times to cancel. There is no phone number to contact them. They make you jump through hoops to cancel your subscription, and by the time you realize they haven't, they have stolen more money from your account. My bank has now advised me the most efficient way to stop the theft is to cancel your card. Thank goodness I have not used the card I use for auto paying my bills, so I don't have to cancel them all and start again!! Sorry, but you need to cancel the card! That's the only way to stop feeding these sharks!!
