This was a legitimate charge for a subscription to our local newspaper.
Hi folks, If you have a charge from ADQ INT. CLASSIFIEDS RI, it is a legitimate company that manages web sites for hundreds of local newspapers. It originally stood for adQ: Intelligent classifieds and was a classified advertising system for the newspaper industry. We are working to change the name that appears on statements to reflect subscription or classifieds charges but it's a long process. adQ is not a company but a product. The company does business as Creative Circle Media Solutions and works primarily with family owned, local newspapers, providing them with web sites, classified advertising platforms and subscription systems. Our web site is www.creativecirclemedia.com. If you have a charge from us, it means you bought a classified ad or a subscription to a local paper. We handle their credit card processing and pay the paper. Typically, you can find our name at the bottom of every page of the paper's web site: Creative Circle Media Solutions. We handle chargebacks and other customer support for these papers as well. If you have a problem with your subscription, you should contact the paper, but if you want to cancel or need a refund, you are welcome to contact us at 401-455-1555. These local papers lose money when you simply file a fraud charge with your credit card company without checking into your charge. It cost more than your subscription just to respond to a fraud charge. So please, before you charge someone with fraud, take the time to investigate a little.
Our local newspaper went out of business and there was a new start-up in process and I was under the impression that the $91.70 charge was for a 1-year subscription to the new newspaper.
$25.00 charge to my PayPal card
This looked suspicious to me, but the previous posts here got me to thinking that I did purchase an online subscription to the newspaper that serves the community where I work. My charge was legitimate.
I don’t know what this is
