The AGI Protect Plan is an extended warranty purchased separately. I made 4 payments to cover my lawn tractor. It's not a scam.
I've paid the payments I agreed to, then several months later they start charging me again every month.
I haven’t bought a protection plan recently; but if I do, it’s a one-time purchase at the store. Not a recurring charge. 3 months and 2 DIFFERENT credit cards later, they have continued to charge my card without me buying anything significant. The only thing I use my card for is gas and online shopping on items that don’t require a protection plan. Don’t fall for it! Their charge description looks legit because they disguise themselves as Lowe’s Assurant real number, but if you look closely on merchant details, the phone number (240) 764-1500 doesn’t exist and is out of Maryland. Their address goes to Connecticut, and the link to the website is an engineering website with “office locations” in Pennsylvania. Bank attempted to block the merchant, but somehow they are still charging my card.
