BHX T1 ALPHA MAIN, I queried this with my credit card company, it turned out to be a correct charge for Duty Free at Birmingham airport. I thought it was a fraud as I had paid a similar amount for parking in the NCP carpark at the airport.
It is purchases from Duty Free at Birmingham Airport
going through my bank statement, panicked cos I thought id been scammed!! it is just the name used by duty free at the airports. The initials give you a clue as to where- ie BHX was my local Birmingham airport!! Feel relieved now!!
wasn't sure when I first saw it, but reading this site I remembered I did indeed shop at the duty free at Birmigham Airport and the charge looks correct.
Confirmed, it was for perfume I bought at the airport in the DF section
