It seems to be a charge for airport services at Firenze (Florence). In my case, this was associated with the payment of hold baggage against an Alitalia Light Fare that did not include any baggage allowance. This was not a payment for the baggage, but seemingly an additional charge to the airport services company, perhaps to pay for the transfer of the bags to the aircraft.
We paid 45 Euros each for a baggage fee at the Florence airport (we had the "light" fare which did not include a checked bag, plus we hadn't paid the "extra" bag ahead of time online which would have been 25 Euros each). This was authorized by me with my credit card & pin #. What I didn't authorize was an additional fee of 8 Euros each for what has been described above as a fee to "handle" the bags. What a rip off and definitely a scam.
