Mark on June 27, 2020

This is legitimate even though it's not made crystal clear. It starts with the purchase of a $0.99 cookbook on Facebook. You're given access to two websites - http://www.recipetour.com and http://shop.ecovaler.com. At some point during this process (I'm not certain when as it was a couple of months ago), you're told that continued access to these sites will result in a monthly $19.95 charge after the first month. If you don't cancel then you're charged $19.95 per month. To cancel for either of these, you can call 702-832-0455. Customer for both sites is handled by this group.

I have no idea who obo inc is. I have just had 19.95 taken out of my debit card. I'm furious that someone has hacked my card. I want it back. I'm only on minimum social security. I can't afford to have money taken for something I didn't buy

TIFFANY Gray on November 11, 2020

I just spotted OBO INC. in my bank statement. I was charged 19.95 on my debit card.. I didn’t order anything from them. This charge happened on Nov 4, 2020. Transaction happened at 5.12am. I’m filing a dispute with my bank to get my money back.

I don't know what this OBO INC. charge is on my account. I want an explanation and then a deposit of $19.95 BACK into my account.

Glenn Fields on November 25,2020 on November 26, 2020

I have had a charge from OBO inc. and ECZ for $19.95 each on my credit card for three months. I called the credit card company. They are launching an investigation, replacing my money and issuing a new card. Don't do like I did, check your statement every month.

Twinkle Toes on December 02, 2020

I've had the same problem. I wanted the $0.99 cookbook I I had seen on Facebook, but after learning that I would then have to pay $19.95/month for the privilege, I changed my mind, cleared the form, and backed out of the page. On November 23rd, I received a charge of $19.95 from OBO INC. I filed a complaint with my CC company, filled out a complaint from, and thought that was the end of it. NOPE. On November 30th, I was charged $19.95 from a company called MBM*ECOV. Once again, I called my CC company and filled a complaint. This time, I've had to destroy my CC and now I have to wait 7-10 business days to receive my new card. It appears that this company has several aliases. Their phone numbers are out of California but it appears that their physical location is in Las Vegas. B*****ds. 😡👎🏼

Walter on June 19, 2021

Probably do to one of the websites advertising $.99 ebook recipes. The fine print has you signing up for $19.95 per month subscription. Very tricky! The good news is i called and they agreed to cancel the subscription and refund my money. Also called band and canceled debit card. Be careful out there.

Velda Henley on July 21, 2021
