Interesting mo with this fraud. Day before fraudulent charge, one cent US is charged to my card to "see if it works" the next day this TERRIJACKSO 6195356244 scam charge, manually entered is made to some knick knack shop. What is indicative of their towering stupidity is it was USD on a Canadian card and it shows up on a statement like a lighthouse on a dark and clear night. Good news is they did not get my CCV. I scrub it off the day I get the card to stop phone picture scammers from back front picture card numbers theft. Pain is the cancellation and wait for a new one.
Also had this fraud charge on a credit card that I rarely use. The day previous to the $30 charge a 1 penny test charge was made and then credited back. I've never used this card out in the "wild" so I'm not sure what data breach the card numbers were skimmed from. My credit card issuer refunded the $30 and all is well.
