Scammed 60.00 by whitehingle shown on account linked to pay pal. Possibly through a U.S.A purchase. Bank unable to help Pay pal issue. Waiting to see if resolved.

I found a debit of £2.49 to Whitehingel on my Sainsbury's credit card which I stopped using last year so was immediately suspicious. Located it to my PayPal account and from there to E Bay. Turns out it was genuine I bought a small mortice lock from White Hinge L (possibly L for London) who also trade on E Bay as p.pretail. So it turned out to be genuine. PayPal had paid and deducted the money from the Sainsbury's account which I had once lodged with them.

I buy wooden handles for my business from PPRetail on Ebay. The bank statement charge is always referenced "PAYPAL *WHITEHINGEL EB". Not a scam for me
