This was a charge to order a birth certificate
I needed my birth certificate for passport reasons and went to Contra costa counties website and ordered it. That is what the charge is from for me at least. It’s legit. I got my birth certificate in the mail.
Same as the others. This is a charge from Contra Costa Vital Records.
But I did not request a birth cert so why am I be charged??

I ordered death certificates from Contra Costa. This is the 3rd party vendor that the County's Vital Statistics Dept works with. The order was fulfilled.
A charge to this showed up on 10/12 for $60.95. I don't know what it is.
