Recurring 12 dollar charge, phone number 888 699-0399 is always busy.
I tried to call 888 699-0399 and am told it's not a working number.
I too just tried to call 888 699-0399 and am told the telephone number is not in service
I saw a suspicious charge on my account. Called the number listed and someone answered. I asked what business this was and she said ..."This is a call service." I reported to my bank and shut down the card.
This is a charge from the publisher of several newspapers, including the Troy NY Record, Saratogian and Kingston Daily Freeman. https://www.medianewsgroup.com/communities/. It is likely a valid charge if you subscribe to one of those papers as I do.
It also is a way to pay for the Oneida Dispatch
Purchased subscription to Troy Record NY in 01/2024. Then it was automatically renewed on 01/2025 for $14 without contacting me. Tried calling 888-699-0399, out of service. Contacted Visa. Said goodbye to them.
