This is FRAUD... they took 7 deduction of $175 of my account and I do not even know them. I live in Africa!!! They are thieves!!!!!!
It is Asurion cell phone insurance. You dropped your phone, they gave you a new one. Remember?
Fraud deducted $175 twice within 6 seconds. Don't have insurance on phone and I own my own phone but have WalMart TMobile . Call TMobile to complain and write FCC 1-877-382-4357
I do not recognize this charge.
They got me twice in two days and I have a Verizon phone!
This is 100% a scam I called T mobile and they told me they were aware that this was happing and that I would be receiving a call from their investigators within 10 days. I also had a charge supposedly form a company in California that was $199.99
Outright stealing....$175 deducted from my checking acct and I have never even done business with T-Mobile! Plus I have to jump through hoops to get my money back that I didn't even authorize to begin with. We all should receive compensation for damages...mental anguish...
I have 4 of these $175.00 charges on my cc, I don't have T-Mobile, nor have I ever had T-Mobile.
I got hit today for $175, hopefully I caught it in time with my bank as it is still pending.
My checking account was hit on 4/20/2016. 4 175$ charges on the same day. I do not have Verizon or T-Mobile and have not bought a cell phone in 8 years. The authorities should be able to track these people down and prosecute them to the fullest extent the law will allow or turn them over to the people they have ripped off.
Fraud! Who would pay $175 to insure their phone!? AND I haven't been with T Mobile for over 10 years. Wonder how they got my info.
They are still scamming. Just charged my cc account this week twice. Thankfully the card company called to verify the charges as they appeared to be fraud.
i do not use t=mobile and 3 charges in3 days
Charged my cc twice on May 4, 2016. First time was denied by my bank. Second time the bank sent me alerts of suspicious activity. I called my bank with a fraud complaint. Money has not been paid to them. Hopefully the banks fraud department gets the authorities involved as they should.
I got charged $175 on 5/5/16. Thank goodness I have my bank account set to send me texts every time I use my debit card. I called my bank immediately and had everything stopped and canceled. Just makes me so mad!
I just got hit too on 04-29-16. When I discovered it I called my bank immediately and had to cancel my bank card and they will issue me a new one. They told me it was MY card that was used at 2:30pm and I was at work. Couldn't possibly have been me. Had no internet access at that time either. Such an inconvenience. Apparently big money for them though. Seems to be happening a lot!!
Charge me $ 175, what the hell they are doing?
Got hit by these guys twice in one day. They won't talk to you if they answer the phone and just tell you to contact the bank. The FBI should have arrested these guys a long time ago and shut down operations. I guess the people that are getting hit are average Joe's so it's not an issue. Now if Obama's card had been hit, the jerks would be 6 feet under.
Just saw this on my credit card statement for $0. Looks like they were testing my card... There were additional fraudulent charges that were declined. I have never heard of this company. I have VERIZON. and they use Asurion, nor have I filed any claims.
CapitalOne called me as they suspected the charges to be fraudulent and deactivated the card. I was charged for $175 as well, why hasn't anyone caught these guys?
175 still at it
5 / 24 looked at my bank account on line and found that they hit my account for $175 3 timed in 5 min. They were still pending when I called the bank. I have never done business with them or t mobile. This is b*** sh*** 😈
They just got me, $175 on May 24th. Gld I check my bank daily for fraud charges. I deactivated the card and disputed the charge. I never agreed to anything. Friggin' thiefs.
They hit me for $175 on May 25,2016.Never had t-mobile.Cancelled my card.
scam!!!!!!! called my card and disputed. account closed. charged twice on 4-28 for 175.00
Got me on May 26 ,2016 for $175 on my Credit Card. I call them up and they told me to contact my Credit card to dispute the charges because they couldn't find out who charge my card with out a number.
Charged $175 on May 27th and didn't see it for a couple of days. I've disputed and don't even have T-Mobile.
Charged $175 plus another $245 on May 27, 2016 I've never been with T-Mobile only AT&T. Called the number and the guy acted concerned and gave me some information and couldn't do anything about it unless he had a correct phone number. Call and cancel your card ASAP!
Just got charged 175$! I have ATT and my bank contacted me immediately and i cancelled my card! TOTAL SCAM!! Beware!!! This was on June 1st, 2016.
Got hit for $175 on June 2nd, it had a preauthorized hold, disputed it with the bank and reported it to the local authorities. Had to cancel my card and fight with the bank to get my money back. I hope these people get caught soon, they have been doing this for years. I do not have T-mobile and did not authorize this transaction.
Got charged $175 then 29.95, $42.00. I don't have T mobile. Never have. We all know it's a scam, how do we prosecute?
Fraud. Someone else is using your card info. Do not trust this charge, ever. Assurion does not protect its customers, or non-customers in my case, from ANY fraudulent activity. They will be of no help, don't even bother calling them. Call your bank or credit card company's fraud dept immediately when you see this charge. These scumbags only got me for $1, then $175(some people have had numerous charges for $150 or $175 on the same day, some thousands). My bank fixed the issue immediately for me, but it's a hassle nonetheless waiting for the funds to reappear. This has been happening to people for a few years now, since 2014 I believe.
I saw this on my cc statement and googled to find out what was going on and if it was a scam - and then I remembered! I lost my cell phone and had it replaced and I had to pay a $175 surcharge. I did the whole transaction on the phone at t-mobile. I think you can also do it on-line. And the insurance company represents a whole range of carriers in the US and elsewhere. I don't know what the multiple charges are - but wanted to let people know that at least in my case it was totally legit and that I had just forgotten about it.
Saw this charge this morning on an email from my credit card company. $175 This is a Fraud charge, I don't have T-Mobile and I don't have insurance on my cell phone. Call your credit card company and report this as a fraud charge immediately.
My son is on Tmobile and he broke his phone. He had insurance on his phone. The 175.00 was the amount of the deductible. We used to be with AT&T and they charged us a 200.00 deductible when one of our phones broke.
they charge me $249 3 -4 times
Charged $249 4x within a week. On a three-way call with Capital One and T-mobile it was determined someone had stolen my credit card number and was using it to replace phones at the $249 deductible. Card cancelled and worked with Capital One to refund the charges and reissue a new card.
I have been charged on my debit account $49.00 by Agi*Tmo Ins Deductible. How can I stop these charges from showing up on my debit account.
My bank credit card was charged $249. My bank canceled my card and is issuing a new one. It appears this has been happening since 2014 or 2015. How is that possible?? Why can't these thieves be stopped?
We are going thru year end summary of Chase card activity on July 20, 2021. It is a bogus charge $ 249.00. We want it refunded. How do we go about getting that refund ? jkhartmanfamily@att.net
9/2/2022 credit card charged $249. Fraud at it's finest. Can't believe they are still doing this. Seems to be going on for 8 years now
Took charge without permission.
