They just tried to hit my card for $35.49 - but was alerted by my bank as a possible fraud, and I was able to shut down my card. However. I’m a little concerned about the nature of it all. Will be looking out to see if anything happens here.
They tried to $35.49, but my bank blocked them right away and asked for my approval. Card is blocked, but you always try to understand how they could have got the CC details. They would even need both sides of the card to get money.

Yes, my credit union declined their charge of $32.27 from Cosmote AVT Telco AN W. Thank goodness my credit union has a strong defense against scam charges. I didn't even know this was happening.

They got my daughters account for 32.83 and the sad thing is CHASE bank would not refund the fee. After they did an investigation they came to tell me that Cosmote AVT Telco have compelling evidence that we made the charge, but could not provide me with any.

This is some bullsh*t!. Chase sent me a message about this and then I looked it up on the web. This card is only used online and only on my reoccurring charges. One of these online vendors has been compromised.
@Adam, I would call back your Chase bank as they were the ones that notified me of the fraudulent transaction and blocked it. So that sounds fishy that they would give you your money back. Call again and raise cain.

I got a fraud alert from my Chase bank; they did not pay it. It was for $8.34, but I had to cancel the card and the pain of spending hours updating all the automatic payments; this was my business account debit card.
Cosmote AVT Telco AN W charge of 35.88 today. Chase caught and blocked it. Have to get a new card but didn't know what they were or where it came from! After a review of Reddit, with much the same I was a little freaked out. How did they get the info?!!!

IT HAS TO BE A CHASE THING. THIS MUST'VE BEEN PART OF THE DATA BREACH EARLIER THIS YEAR. CHASE NEEDS TO GET THEIR !$^# TOGETHER, I'M TIRED OF THIS HAPPENING A COUPLE TIMES A YEAR!
This is fraud, they try to steal small amounts so you don't notice. I am actively contacting the authorities and my bank and my service provider COSMOTE its an actual company in greece but there is no charge name existing like that from what they said. Freeze your card immidiately and call your bank. Unfortunately you will have to get a new card number. It is probably a data breach or a virus on any of your devices that have access to the card details etc. Also file a dispute for the charge.
Received alerts about charge with details Cosmote AVT Telco AN W MAROUSI. I was charged 4 times of 15€ in ten minutes. This is actually a Greek Cellular company that I use so at first I did not think of a scam. But comparing the details of the charge with the regural charges from Cosmote it seems that it is not from Cosmote. It is strange that this started from 2021 and banks still accept this charge. I am using Alpha bank.
Yup, as of today Cosmote is still at it. They tried to hit a credit card of mine but my bank declined it and sent me a fraud alert. After telling them no I didn't make this charge, they immediately canceled my card and will issue me a new one. I just want people to know that they have not stopped trying to get away with their scam and to be on the lookout. Keep tabs on your credit cards and be proactive.

My Bank of America account sent me a verification to ask if I had authorized a $16.24 charge from Cosmote AVT Telco AN W. My bank declined the transaction and notified me. Now I have to go through the hassle of changing all my account numbers on all the auto pays I have set up. What a hassle!
