I had what was flagged as a fraudulent charge by my credit card company but it was apparently the gas station putting a pending charge of $100 when we first started pumping the fuel and the charge was never applied to my account. It was weird though that the credit company themselves made me jump through the hoops saying it wasn't a valid charge - ISTM that the Exxon should have cleared the pending charge themselves once they charged the real amount.
