The # on our credit card statement was 877-327-8914, CA 93101 US. I called and got a spotty connection overseas. The very very very polite person on the line immediately said, "I understand you are calling for a refund?" I hadn't even asked for a refund. He "verified" my card info, name, address, phone #, which I told him weren't even on the card (it's a company card). He said no problem, and had me listen to a recorded message that asked all my info again, which I had to state for the recording. Then he told me "not to panic" when the recorded message mentioned a subscription service I was agreeing to, because I really wasn't. But I had to say "OK" to "confirm the charge." He implied I was confirming the original charge on my credit card statemnt, but I think he was secretly "confirming the new charge for this subscription service." He never did tell me what the charge was for, but he gave me a confirmation # and a toll free number to call to "get the refund." Then he very very very quickly hung up on me before I could get more information. Needless to say, I'm canceling the card. Thirteen minutes of my life wasted.
