It's the fee (deposit) for importing a vehicle into Mexico. It gets refunded when you leave.
This is the charge made at Km 21, Mexico Immigration, to pay for the sticker for your vehicle that you are bringing into Mexco. My understandinf it is refundabke when you keqve Mexico and turn the sticker (permit) back in as your leave fhe country.
I think it is the charge for me at Km21, Mexico immigration, that I had to pay because I have a tourist visa. I was riding as a passenger in my husband's car (he has a temporary resident visa), so it is not for my car. But probably for entry as a tourist.
I was charged $468.15 on October 29,2022 to travel to Alamos. MODULO ITV AGUA ZARCA shows up for that deposit. I did return my vehicle on Nov 3, 2022 within the 7 day free period. Today is Nov 5, 2022 and I still have not received a credit for that transaction. I contacted my credit card company. Hopefully they will credit my card soon.
