According the fraud department of the bank this was drawn by a affiliate booking through for hotel reservations, i never used this card for travel/ reservations and hav never been in Basildon, even less at 4am the day the transaction was done ( i have not been in the country basildon is at, the UK, for more than 2 years as well). Bank will refund and send me the paperwork to sign, however i feel this may be part of a larger scam run with more than just me as the victim.

This was a transaction made by a petrol station when the internet was down. The cashier had to phone for voice authorization with VISA. Nothing suspicious.
