I've just been charged $15.55 from Amazon Australia serviceMELBOURNE AU. I want to know why and if I can get a refund
I wish to close my account. Every two weeks i am charged 13.99 and i haven't used my kindle book in over 6 months.
I was suspicious of the frequent small charges from amazon aust services melbourne au on my credit card but upon investigation found out it was "books" on my wife's Kindle- investigation closed! :)
Amazon Australia servi Melbourne withdrew $12.49 from my bank account never have had anything to do with Amazon. Demand refund immediately!

2 charges on my account, $1.36 & $11.99. Never used Amazon for anything
Had a charge for $1.38 and $11.99 come through on my account. This account is not used for any online transactions so no idea wtf that is. Checked my Amazon account and there were no new orders in my account, and confirmed that card was added to my account. I haven't bought anything with that card in over a year as well, but it must have been skimmed at some point. Called my bank and they've cancelled my cards and are issuing a refund. Advise anyone else to do the same.
If you are getting a regular amount taken from your account each month, check you haven't signed up for Kindle Unlimited at some point. I completely forgot I had signed up for it, but found this to be the culprit hiding behind the name Amazon in my bank transactions.
From mybank I recieved an message the there was a refuse charge on my Visa creditcardwas for charging Eur 5,27. My payment are protected with my authority and did even know about this so I did't do anything. After two times trying this evening at about 21.24. It was stopped.

This is a scam , they keep trying to steal money from us.
