this is appearing on my bank statement as of today and I have no idea what it is. The charge is $39.90. What is it?

THE ONLY THING I USED MY CARD FOR WAS TO BUY PIZZA A LITTLE CEASERS AND PAY MY CRICKET BILL!

Literally have had recurring charges for MONTHS. Every single month I have to call the number and each time they say I'm "unsubscribed" form something I was never even subscribed to in the first place. But they say I am now unsubscribed and that they'll refund me and that it'll take 4-5 business days for it to show up in my account. I never has and I'm still being charged 20 dollars a month and I'm so %*&!ed. If anyone knows how to fix this please PLEASE let me know.

They will try their hardest to give you a good deal so you wont cancel. Just stay firm and interrupt them and tell them no and cancel right now. Hope this helps others.

This is definitely a ripoff. I got the same charge ($39.90) that everyone else is reporting. They probably got my info from trying to get a $1000 Amazon gift card (another scam). Fortunately I reported it immediately and my bank is taking care of the problem for me. Who knows how many unfortunate people have been scammed by these scumbags!

if anyone has tried to apply for a loan through an auto dealership or one of these online lenders, it takes you through several steps where you fill in information oh, and then the final step is for you to find out your credit score. that particular website is one of the websites that you are directed to to get your credit score For those lenders. And once you go to that website, and you enter all your information and you pay $1 for a seven day free trial, if you do not cancel your membership, they will start charging you $50 a month for their services where Credit Karma is free

This showed up among Internet pages outlining how to get Section 8 housing. It said you had to have a credit score to obtain Section 8. The first charge of $1 which I authorized for a 7 day free trial of credit check was withdrawn on 4/16/18. No where did I see that they would charge you $39.90 every month until you get wise and freeze your credit card. Which I did. They withdrew $39.90 on 6/4/18, 4/23/18, I have since found out this is bogus. You do not need a credit score to get Section 8. They have still tried to withdraw from my account through the frozen credit card at least 3-4 times a day for the last month and been declines (including today). I know because my bank texts me that the charge for these people was declined because my card is frozen. I plan to tell them today and file the paperwork through the credit fraud division. When you do this, they check it out, and if it is bogus. you will get your money back. Good Luck

A foreign sounding person answered, he was easy to understand though. He said I had signed up for a free month of credit monitoring. He did offer me some other plans at a cheaper rates.

I was not diligent on checking e-billing statements, but I will be from now on. The credit card is cancelled and a complaint will be attempted with BBB.

This is a credit score monitoring web site. You get charges the fist week $1 and if you do not cancel the full plan which is $39.90. I have used this web site's services for 6 months before getting a loan for my new home. If you have been charged without subscribing to it, this was probably done by a hacker that got your credit card details from the dark web. It has happened to be in the past.

I worked for a 3rd party call center that the company behind 3gldscr hired. Before I quit, it was an absolutely terrible job. The company itself is called Voyso. They run HUNDREDS of websites that all offer the same subscription service; not just 3gldscr. It is a very low-grade credit monitoring service. They charge 39.90 for the membership when you can get the same services with Credit Karma for free. They do provide other services as well. So there is a membership available. But, honestly in the time I was there, it was so often I had people call in that did not sign up for the service. Be careful and do not apply for any gift card giveaways or any online surveys because that’s how this company gets you. When you call, they mention they are from “Membership Services” and are not allowed to say the company’s name. They told us to try and retain customers, even if they never signed up or agreed to the service and we always had to rebuttal refunds because 9 times out of 10, you wouldn’t get them. It was absolutely horrible and made me feel sick. I quit not long after. I used to love working in a call center working for other legitimate companies like Netflix, SiriusXM and Humana. But, after we were hired for Voyso, it was an absolute nightmare. Steer clear of this company!! The management wasn’t great either, constantly belittling employees and making extremely hasty and rash decisions. They treated us third-party agents like we were dirt under their feet. So much wrong with this company. However, if you do get unlucky and end up having to call, PLEASE be kind to these agents. Most of them are hired on by third party call centers and do not actually work for the Voyso company itself. These agents are NOT the ones scamming you. They work for legitimate call centers that unfortunately were hired with this terrible, sickening company.

After I signed up and paid, the person I was emailing with went silent. It turns out the apartment listing was fake and was only bait to get me to sign up for this subscription and bill me every month. I called my bank and replaced my debit card number. I also called these scammers and demanded my money back. I told them I will sue them for fraud if they don’t refund me.

In July 2022 a 39.90 charge was made against my B of A account? I tried to track them down to find who they are? I had to report fraud to bank and go through hasell to get new credit cards. I finally called them they claimed to be in Arizona. The man told me he would need my credit card number to figure it out!!! I gave him my name , phone numbers but told him your nuts to ask me for my credit card. He could solve nothing. I had to get new credit cards and another fraud report to B of A in Dallas Texas.

A charge was made 2 weeks ago. I disputed with my bank. Today a pending charge of 39.90. My bank refunded my account and told me to call company to stop future payments. But I can see from these complaints that the company still charges again and again. I allowed a friend to charge the initial $1 on my PayPal debit card for the 'required' credit report for an online loan. They didn't see anything about a recurring $39.90 if not cancelled within 7 days; do don't know for sure if there was a tiny print disclosure. I had to cancel that debit card and have it replaced, but still get daily notification that the charge was attempted again. Though should be safe with a new card, still a pain to get the daily notification, plus even though probably safe now, I'm afraid to put any money on my PayPal account due to the risk of losing $39.90.

I signed up for a site boasting free credit score checks (viewfreescores.com), which I only needed once to apply for a loan. They first charged me $1 for sign up, and ever since then they got my info they ran with it, trying to charge me 39.99 for something advertised as free. Luckily my bank saw this charge as fraud, and they haven't successfully charged me. I reported my card as stolen and reset all of the numbers to the account, and now this new charge from 3gldscr.com comes up and immediately gets blocked by my bank due to frequent scams with this charge. In doing research, 3gldscr.com is a scammy Credit checker that promise free credit checks but in signing up gives you a paid "ultimate checker" version instead. which starts at a $1 fee and then a $39.99 monthly membership fee. Seem familiar? I go to 3gldscr.com and use the email I used for viewfreescores and click "forgot password" It took a second to load and then guess where it redirects me too? If you guessed Viewfreescores.com, your right. Turns out 3gldscr and viewfreescore is just a part of this giant credit check scam industry, advertising free credit checks and only allowing you to sign up for the paid version. So far I've only seen goldencreditscores.com viewfreescore.com and 3gldscr.com, but be wary of any credit check websites telling you it's free, otherwise you will have to spend hours on the phone with these scammers telling them no I don't want a different plan, to cancel a paid plan that was advertised for free. Oh and if you do sign up using a credit card, getting a new card will not stop the membership charge, they will find your new card information and give you this exact charge.
