Fraudulent charge 12/15/18
Mystery Debit card charge for $217.38 on 12-28-2018 from PHILIPS ELECTRONIC STAMFORD CT. We reported this to the bank who immediately issued a new card. Our dispute is in progress. This definitely a fraudulent charge. It first appeared as "Pending" in my online statement. It remained in the "Pending" state for 10-14 days, which is far longer than any other transaction I've seen, so the bank couldn't do anything until it actually cleared the account.
Philips has struck again. 222+ dollars . Credit card company is investigating...
They charged one transaction of less than 5 dollars on 3/14/19, then $211 on 3/15. Chase did not let the second transaction go through and instead contacted me so that's nice.
They charged $222.59 on my card; luckily my bank sent me a text message alerting to possible fraudulent charges and I found out right away. They're smart in that they charge an amount that sounds legit.
