Visa debit purchase 3 entries on same day. $2.30, $2.30 And $0.80.. Took me a while, but it turns out to be a water vending machine at Capalaba, Qld ..I only realised it AFTER I cancelled my card.. monumental pain in the a.
I have never used a car wash . So l would be very weary about this company if Circumtec Mentone comes on your bank account check out your transactions l have contacted my bank about this transaction to my account . So hopefully it gets resolved
This is the account for Ka-Bling car wash in Busselton WA. We have used this on several occasions and never had a problem with this account.
For me this was associated with my use of a paywave vending machine. It was legit.
Thought this was a scam charge until I remembered using the car wash. Legitimate charge.
Circumtec is a legitimate credit card vending machine payment gateway.... They have a similar business to mine, except they don't charge enormous transaction fees.
Just noticed one on my bank statement but I used a car wash and my card their don’t recall it being as that in my last statement when I did the exact same thing though 🤔
On 2nd Dec 2018, on 29 Oct 2019 and on 14th March 2021 I was billed through my credit card a total of $55.60. I come from Western Australia and I have never been to Mentone. All of the above were for car washes.
I live in Newcastle and on 20 Jan 21 I was charged by Circum Wash Mentone (VIC) $18.50. I have never been there-ever! simply - SCAM!!!! Will call them for the explanation and refund!!!!
We also live in Newcastle and were charged $11.50 by Circum Wash Mentone on 20/07/21. We did use Car Lovers in Newcastle. Looking at Russel Pay Tech Solutions post, perhaps Car Lovers is using a gateway for their payments under another name??

My wife lined up for a $10 car wash in Turramurra on the Pacific Highway and was asked "cash or credit", replying "credit". The Visa creidt charge was billed $10.30 as a cash advance, which then started attracting credit card interest over the rest of the month adding a further $0.07 to the car wash charge to Dec 31 2021, with more interest charges likely for January MTD! What a rip off!!!
This is very undair to Circumtec. They charge a 30-40c transaction fee for people that dont carry loose change for vending machines. All these people saying scam simply forget they bought junk food and conveniently blame Circumtec. Shame on the stupid society we have become.
It's a payment for car wash. Doesn't matter where you use it, it will come up as Mentone. Legitimate.
Carwash, charged me a second time two days later...
Finally remembered it was a transaction at an unmanned ice machine.
Never used any of their services, charged $5. Those who say this is legit are suss af.
