Unknow charge on debit card
I have an 18$ charge on my account from this...
So it looks like this is a manual car wash and if you swipe your card, it randomly charges you $10. I used the vacuum once and my charge didn't even go through
I see this charge on my debit card all the time. Does anyone know what eastex enterprise is ?
If you use a debit card at the car wash, the credit card merchant account puts a temporary $10 hold on the card until the actual real charge clears that night. The $10 is released and replaced with actual amount you used for the wash. This is standard practice for a debit card used in a situation where the final charge is unknown, like a hotel or a car wash. If you use an actual credit card, the hold amount does not apply. There is never a reoccurring charge! You only pay for the time you use. Our timers will automatically stop charges at $15 if you forget to hit the stop button.
